Good news in the Herald a few days ago about a new airline connecting Boston with Scotland/Ireland.

GlobeSpan

I think its competitor Aer Lingus does a good job with low fares. I flew Aer Lingus a few times and even spent midnight on New Years over the atlantic on Aer Lingus, they treated us well.

Hopefully this competition will lower the already inexpensive prices. Comparing Boston with the rest of the country, we are pretty close to Ireland/UK....when the price is right, it's a great long weekend trip.

I guess GlobeSpan flies to a small airport on the west coast of Ireland that other carriers currently do not fly to. This is a great spot to experience the small, country side of Ireland....and they fly to Glasgow Scotland.
