XC Skiing

Well, we tried our first Cross Country skiing today with the little snow we were given.....let me say, it was bit harder than I thought it was going to be. I have done it before but forgot about how little ankle support there is. I played hockey and consider myself a pretty good skier....but XC skiing has zero ankle stability so it's a lot different.

Krissy really enjoyed it and I must say she did very well. Plus, how could she not with those stunning gloves!?!?!?

Santa Comes Early

Well, it's Christmas Eve, Eve and Mr. Clause is coming tonight for Georgia (we put in a special request since Santa is visiting Georiga tomorrow night with her Dad.)

As you can see here, Georgia has been eagerly counting down the days with her calendar. Every morning Georgia would ask us to escort her to the calendar to get a treat for that day (thanks Pat for the calendar she loves it, as do we....despite having to get up a bit earlier in the AM.) Finally, the day has come. Georgia has put out a beer and some cookies (due to the unusual request for Santa to come one night early, he had his special request for a brew)

Tomorrow we will see what the good guy brings and report the goodies back. Merry Christmas!

Birthday # 3

We had a great time tonight and Georgia celebrated her third birthday with family, friends, and loved ones. Here are some pictures and a video from this evening:

First Post

Greetings,

Some of you will understand the "MaroonAndGrey" concept and others may not. Yes, it's a reference to the land O' Vikings, the great Rocky coast we call Rockport (the school colors). It's appropriate considering we both met in high school and so I wanted to pay my respects to RHS for introducing me to her.

Important Date: On May 26th, 2007 we will be getting married in Boston and then off to Europe. Not sure whether the once great empire of Italy or the wonderful land of Scotland will be blessed with our presence. The idea of northern Italy is to visit the native region of Krissy's late Grandmother, Rose Pieroway. If we don't go to northern Italy for our honeymoon we will certainly make the trek in the near future. I have always wanted to visit that region, experience the Alps and travel through Austria and Switzerland. Krissy tells me that Milan (which is 30 mintues away from Lake Como) is the fashion capital of the world....I'm going to come back stunning! Scotland is the home to the MacGillvray clan (my mothers side), the northern Highland family with the motto of "Touch Not This Cat"...not sure of the complete meaning but it sounds great.

Since two families are joining together we thought this blog would serve as a good vehicle for anyone that is interested in our travels, adventures, and daily life. More importantly, it's an amazing time machine for not just ourselves but for Georgia and the future members of the Team.
